Nevermind the Mainland! It's a Tassie Punk Fest!

Three days of total punk infestation in Hobart, Tasmania.

October 4th-6th

After the amazing success of our first fest - the second Dark Days planning is well underway, with even more bands... a local punk crew working with past organizers of Total Attack (Brisbane) & Such Is Life (Victoria) fests bringing some 50 bands from across this country and beyond to Tassie!

This year we will be donating to Seed Indigenous youth climate network. They’re building a movement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people for climate justice.

Dark Days is enormously grateful to all the incredible international, interstate and local bands coming to lutruwita (Tasmania) to play FOR FREE to support this vital cause. To all the bands playing and people planning on coming, thank you for bringing on the Dark Days for a second year. See you in October!

We are living in dark days - with the growing shadows of inequality, war, climate change, extremist hate, misogyny, extinctions, a global refugee crisis & even the return of nuclear war talk - rather than just feeling helpless lets bring people together, make some noise, have fun and do something good!

Hope to see you there!

We want to acknowledge that this festival takes place on the lands of the palawa people. We want to pay respect to their elders past and present.

Sovereignty was never ceded.
